Mark Anderson Elevated To CBS Pittsburgh VP/Programming

CBS Radio Pittsburgh has elevated Mark Anderson to Vice President of Programming. Anderson was Operations Manager for the cluster and Program Director for Hot AC “100.7 Star” WBZZ and Country “Y108” 107.9 WDSY. Jim Graci will continue in his role as PD of News/Talk 1020 KDKA and Sports “93.7 The Fan” KDKA-FM. CBS RADIO Pittsburgh has elevated Mark Anderson to Vice President, Programming, effective immediately, up from his current role as Pittsburgh Operations Manager and Program Director of WBZZ-FM and WDSY-FM. CBS Dismisses Top Chicago Management

The CBS hits keep coming with the dismissal of Rod Zimmerman and Mark Day from their positions leading the Chicago cluster for the company. As first reported by Robert Feder, Zimmerman has served as Senior Vice President and Market Manager since 2003. He had worked for CBS since 1978 including stints overseeing WBBM Chicago, KMOX St. Louis, and WWJ Detroit. Mark Day was Vice President/Director of Sales since 2012 and previously a General Sales Manager. CBS Cuts Hit Miami & Pittsburgh

The names of the people who have been cut from CBS Radio in the past week continue to make their way out. Sports 560 WQAM Miami has dropped Adam Kuperstein and former Miami Dolphin Channing Crowder from their 1-3pm show. Orlando “Big O” Alzugaray adds an additional hour to run 10am-2pm, Marc Hochman with Zach Krantz slides up an hour to run 2-6pm, while Alex Donno will host 6-10pm. PBRTV.com reports on some names let go in Pittsburgh. Morning co-host Jimmy Roach is out at Country “Y108” 107.9 WDSY.
