Entercom Extends Houston Texans Deal Through 2027

Entercom has signed an extension with the NFL’s Houston Texans to keep the franchise’s programming on their stations through the end of the 2027 season. “Sports Radio 610” KILT and Country “100.3 The Bull” KILT-FM will continue to air all of the team’s play-by-play coverage in English, while Spanish CHR “Mega 101” KLOL will do the same in Spanish. 610 KILT will continue to air three-hour long pre and post-game shows as well as “Texans All Access” from 6-8pm weekdays during the regular season and 6-7p during the offseason and the “Coach Bill O’Brien Show” from 5-6pm on Mondays during the season. DOJ Requires More Clear Channel Spinoffs

Update 2/14/08: Some reports on which stations must be spun-off. The Houston Chronicle states that 101.1 KLOL and either 94.5 KTBZ or 96.5 KHMX will be sold. John Kiesewetter of the the Cincinnati Enquirer reports that the pair of 700 WLW and 107.1 WKFS or the pair of 92.5 WOFX and 94.1 WNNF will be sold in Cincinnati. We’ve also heard that 101.9 KWID will be the Las Vegas station, but nothing out of San Francisco that seems conclusive.
