Jackson Radio Works has moved “Hot Country 101.5” W268CA Jackson MI to a new frequency and relaunched it as “95.9 The Power Cow“. Now airing on 1450 WIBM/95.9 W240DG Jackson, the move increases the station’s coverage on the western side of Jackson. The ESPN programming that had been heard on 1450 continues on “ESPN 101.9” W270CJ/105.3 WKHM-HD2. No word yet on what programming will replace the Country format on 101.5. The Power Cow features a local lineup from 6am to 7pm daily with Scott Clow in mornings, Captain Steve in middays, and Greg Green in afternoons.

Mornings are being hosted by Marc Daly, who will pull double-duty continuing his “Jackson Daly” program on sister News/Talk 970 WKHM. ‘Captain’ Steve Boyle will fill the 9am-3pm timeslot and serve as Program Coordinator for the station. Scott Clow in afternoons and Greg Green at night round out the new station’s lineup. The launch gives the Jackson area its own Country station. Previously the market was served by Country formatted stations in Ann Arbor, Battle Creek, and Lansing. Jackson Radio Works owns News/Talk 970 WKHM, Sports “ESPN 1450” WIBM/101.9 W270CJ, and CHR “K105.3” WKHM-FM in the Jackson market.
