DSC Makes Return To KGB Official

iHeartMedia Classic Rock 101.5 KGB San Diego made the full announcement this morning that The DSC Show will return to the station in mornings for its third tour of duty starting Monday, August 6. Outside of the retiring Shelly Dunn, the entire cast of Dave Rickards, Cookie ‘Chainsaw’ Randolph, Chris Boyer, Nina “Ruth 66” Reeba, Emily Maguire and Sarah Beebe will remain with the show at its new old home. Current KGB morning hosts Bob Buchmann and Coe Lewis will move to 3-7pm afternoons, while afternoon host Clint August moves to middays. People Moves 2/6: Jeff Detrow & CJ Lusk Make Moves To Christian Radio

Educational Media Foundation’s “K-Love” launched a new on-air lineup in January. The morning show hosted by Skip Mahaffey and Amy Baumann remains in place from 6-11am eastern/3-8am pacific. Afternoon host Scott Smith moves to middays to reteam with Kelli Caldwell in the 11am-4pm/8am-1pm slot replacing Mike Kankelfritz who left in November. Longtime San Diego morning host Jeff Detrow of “Jeff & Jer” fame has joined as co-host of the 4-9pm/1-6pm afternoon show. Detrow will be paired with former night host Randi Tyler, while Larry Wayne takes the 9pm-3am/6pm-12am slot.
