Univision has rebranded Regional Mexican 102.9 KLTN Houston as “Qué Buena 102.9“. The longtime “Estereo Latino” and more recently branded by just its frequency now takes on the branding most recently used by sister 93.3 KQBU-FM Port Arthur. That station dropped the Regional Mexican format to simulcast sister Spanish CHR “Latino Mix 104.9” KAMA-FM Deer Park on December 1.
Univision has debuted its new replacement program for Eddie ‘Piolin’ Soltelo. “El Bueno, La Mala, y El Feo” debuted this morning on Regional Mexican “LA 101.9” KSCA Los Angeles and in middays on “La Que Buena 97.5” KBNA El Paso, “Estereo Latino 102.9” KLTN Houston, 98.5 KGBT McAllen, and “Estereo Latino 92.9” KROM San Antonio. Univision states that the program will soon be heard in Albuquerque, Austin, Chicago, Dallas, Fresno, Las Vegas, Phoenix, San Diego, and San Francisco.
