The station will adjust from a Class C with 100kW at 381 meters to a C1 with 89kW at 315 meters. Cochise Broadcasting is attempting to change a pair of its Arizona stations. Tucson rimshot 103.7 KXZK Vail has applied to shift from 790 watts at 145 meters to 6kw at 25 meters. 95.3 KCDQ Douglas, AZ applies to relocate to Tombstone where it will upgrade from a Class A with 800 watts at 12 meters to a C0 with 100kW at 300 meters. ESPN Heading To FM In Twin Falls

Lee Family Broadcasting has closed on its purchase of Hot AC “Mix 103” 102.9 KMVX and Classic Country 1400 KART from Southern Idaho Broadcasting and is preparing a format change at the FM. The Twin-Falls Times News reports that KMVX will flip to Sports “ESPN 102.9 The Zone” on May 24. The report incorrectly identifies KVNO as the calls for the new station. Those calls belong to the University of Nebraska’s Classical outlet in Omaha. The new calls for KMVX will be KZNO, which was requested back on March 16. The Zone has hired College of Southern Idaho voice Jonathan Drew as Sports Director and afternoon host.
