Federated Media is making adjustments to Country “K105” 105.1 WQHK-FM Huntertown/Fort Wayne IN as half of its airstaff departs and its General Sales Manager demoted. As first reported by Indiana Radio Watch, morning co-host Dude Walker and afternoon host Aricka McCauley have exited WQHK-FM. Walker joined the station as night host in 1994 and moved to mornings in 1998. McCauley has hosted afternoons since 2014 after joining WQHK from CHR “U93” WNDV-FM South Bend. Morning co-hosts Dan Austin and Kylie Havens remain in place. With the relaunch comes a move to mostly syndicated programming. Local PD/Morning Host Greg ‘Air’ Jordan is out and replaced in mornings by the syndicated Big Boy. Middays remain voicetracked by Mellie Mel, while the syndicated Nessa On Air is now at night. The station is also carrying Sir Mix-A-Lot’s “Explicitly Old School” at 12pm and promoting Rick Dees’ “Daily Dees” on its website.
