Just eight months after flipping from Classic Rock “Z104” to Hot AC “Magic 104.1“, 104.1 WMZK Merril, WI has reverted to its former name and format. As Northpine.com reported it is a little unclear who is currently operating the station. The original format change to Hot AC came when Michael Enfelt’s Radio One Communications agreed to acquire WMZK and sister Classic Country “Patriot 730” WJMT Merril//99.1 W256AG Wausau from Barracuda Broadcasting/Quicksilver Broadcasting for $595,000 and immediate Time Brokerage Agreement. The sale never closed, however as the stations were ordered into bankruptcy receivership in late November.
