KZEP Moves & Hot 104.5 Launches In San Antonio

Clear Channel Classic Rock 104.5 KZEP San Antonio has moved its format to 93.3 K227BH San Antonio replacing the simulcast of Classic Country “92.5 K-Buc” KRPT Devine. With KZEP off of 104.5, Clear Channel has launched Rhythmic CHR “Hot 104.5“. Branded as “Today’s Rhythm and All the Best Throwbacks”, the station is launching with 10,000 songs in a row. The format consists of a mix of currents and Urban gold dating back to the 1990s. KZEP registered a 2.4 share in the just released July 2014 Nielsen Audio PPM ratings. The new format positions the station up against Univision’s “98.5 The Beat” KBBT, which is currently tied for the market lead.
