Bustos Media will purchase 104.9 KYXE Union Gap/Yakima WA from Centro Familiar Cristiano for $215,000. KYXE has been operated by Bustos via LMA since early 2016 as Regional Mexican “La Z 104.9“. James Su’ EDI Media is acquiring Brokered Ethnic 1370 KWRM Corona/Riverside CA from Richard Vosper’s Major Market Stations for $1. EDI operates a network of Chinese language stations in markets including Atlanta, Boston, Portland, and San Francisco. Barnwell Community Radio donates 99.1 WHBJ Barnwell SC to Augusta Radio Fellowship for zero consideration. WHBJ already airs ARF’s Christian “Good News Network” programming.

KYXE Shifts To Spanish Christian

After returning to the air in October with Christmas Music “North Pole Radio“, 104.9 KYXE Union Gap/Yakima, WA has flipped to Spanish Christian “La Estación de la Familia“. KYXE launched in October 2012 with Christmas music before going dark at the end of the holiday season.

And then there were four… After being the first station to flip to Christmas music in 2012, Sunnylands Broadcasting’s 104.9 KYXE Union Gap/Yakima, WA has once again made an early return to the holiday mix using the “North Pole Radio” programming service. After running with Christmas music from October to January last year, KYXE went dark again until returning with this year’s holiday music.

Christmas Rush Begins In Yakima

After a false alarm last month, you can mark Wednesday, October 10 as the date of the first All-Christmas format launch in 2012. Sunnylands Broadcasting’s new sign-on 104.9 KYXE Union Gap/Yakima, WA is the lucky station for the honor this year. The station is running the “North Pole Radio” service from Broadcast Partners, LLC. No word yet on what programming will follow after the holiday season. In 2011, the first Christmas format flip took place on October 17.
