EMF intends to flip the station to its Christian AC “K-Love” network as a satellite of 91.9 KLVR Middletown CA. The Classic Hits format may survive as S&H sister company retains simulcaster 1270 KVGH Palm Desert, which holds a CP for a new translator 106.5 K293CL Spring Valley as well as Soft AC “CV 104.3” KHCV Mecca. iHeartMedia currently has two translators from the AM Revitalization Waiver Period seeking identical facilities on 106.9 in Cleveland OH. On August 1, iHeart applied to move what was originally 94.7 W234BW Parkersburg WV to Cleveland rebroadcasting News/Talk 1100 WTAM with 195w vertical/213m. Over the course of the two waiver periods, iHeart had seven translators that it applied to move to different destinations in each. W293CW was one of those where it was granted a Construction Permit to relocate to Marion OH as 106.5 W293CW rebroadcasting 1490 WMRN. On top of that the translator was given a six month extension of its CP to extend the time it had to be built from expiring on March 15 to September 15.
Sunnylands Broadcasting has launched Classic Hits “Valley 105.1” KVGH North Shore/Palm Springs, CA.
