Community Radio For Northern Colorado debuted its new AAA “105.5 The Colorado Sound” KJAC Tinmath/Fort Collins CO today. CRNC purchased then Sports “ESPN Denver” in December from Front Range Sports Network for $3 million. KJAC will allow new sister 91.5 KUNC Greeley to drop its music programming to focus completely on Public News/Talk. The KJAC staff will include former KBCO host Ron Bostwick in mornings and former “92.9 Dave-FM” WZGC Atlanta host Margot Chobanian in middays. Former KBCO host Keefer Fulgham, who joined KUNC last year will serve as MD/afternoon host and KUNC host Benji will move to nights.
Community Radio For Northern Colorado, owners of Public News/Talk/AAA 91.5 KUNC Greeley/Fort Collins CO, has announced the acquisition of Front Range Sports Network’s “ESPN Denver” 105.5 KJAC Timnath. The current sports format will cease on January 3, 2016 with CRNC launching a non-commercial AAA on the signal on Monday, February 29 All of KUNC’s music programming will move to the new signal, while KUNC will move to all Public News/Talk programming.
