CBS Radio Promotes Tracy Brandys To Baltimore Market Manager

CBS Radio has promoted Baltimore VP/Director of Sales Tracy Brandys to Senior Vice President/Market Manager for the company’s four station cluster of AC “Today’s 101.9” WLIF, Sports “105.7 The Fan” WJZ-FM, Hot AC “Mix 106.5” WWMX, and Sports “CBS Sports Radio 1300” WJZ. Brandys succeeds Bob Phillips, who recently transferred to CBS Radio’s corporate offices in New York as Chief Revenue Officer. Brandys has been with CBS Baltimore since 1996 coming to the company as part of its acquisition of Summit Broadcasting’s 102.7 WXYV and 600 WCAO. She has also served as General Sales Manager of WWMX. Bob Phillips Named CBS Radio Chief Revenue Officer

CBS Radio has promoted Baltimore market manager and SVP/Sales Bob Phillips to the newly created role of Chief Revenue Officer. Phillips will be based in New York and be responsible for leading all aspects of revenue generation for the company at the corporate, regional, and local levels. Phillips has spent most of his career in Baltimore working for United Broadcasting, Sconnix Broadcasting, and American Radio Systems into its acquisition by CBS where he rose to GSM and then GM of Oldies 105.7 WQSR before being named Market Manager for the cluster in 2000. 105.7 The Fan Baltimore Sets New Lineup

CBS Sports “105.7 The Fan” WJZ-FM Catonsville/Baltimore MD is revising three of its four dayparts. With the exit of Steve Davis from his position as morning co-host with former Baltimore Police Commissioner Ed Norris, Rob Long is moving from middays to succeed him. In turn Bob Haynie will move up from nights to join former Washington Redskins General Manager Vinny Cerrato in middays. Afternoons with Scott Garceau and Jeremy Conn remain as is, while Jerry Coleman moves from weekends/fill-in to nights. Baltimore Orioles Join 105.7 The Fan

Baltimore Orioles baseball is moving back to CBS Sports “105.7 The Fan” WJZ-FM Catonsville/Baltimore for the 2015 season. The multiyear deal returns the Orioles to their flagship from 2007 through 2010 and ends their second run on Hearst News/Talk 1090 WBAL. WJZ-FM will anchor a 34 station Orioles Radio Network with 162 regular season games, some spring training games, and ancillary programming. Joe Angel and Fred Manfra will return for their 12th season together as the play-by-play voices of the Orioles.
