Update 5/22/09: WMKS did flip to CHR at 5:00pm today as “105.7 Hit Music Now“. The station is running jockless right now with the typical 10,000 songs in a row commercial free launch. The station is targetted directly at crosstown Dick Broadcasting’s 107.5 WKZL. Original Post 5/21/09: When you think Kiss-FM in the Clear Channel portfolio, you normally think CHR. One of the few exceptions is Urban AC WMKS “105.7 Kiss-FM” Greensboro, NC. That could be changing as 1057HitMusicNow.com and a few varitations (including a few swiping at crosstown CHR WKZL) are redirecting to WMKS’s site.
