Billy The Kidd & Anne Hudson To Host Mornings At 96.7 Kiss-FM Austin

iHeartMedia CHR “96.7 Kiss-FM” KHFI Austin will debut a new morning show on Monday, February 29. “The Billy The Kidd Morning Show” will feature “106.1 Kiss-FM” KHKS Dallas afternoon host Billy The Kidd and Country 100.7 KASE Austin midday host Anne Hudson. They replace the syndicated Elvis Duran show that was dropped at the end of 2015. Both will retain their current positions in addition to the morning show. Prior to joining KHKS for his second stint, Billy previously worked for iHeart doing nights at “Z100” New York and has also worked at WDRQ Detroit and KRBV Dallas. D Magazine Goes In Depth Into The Last Days Of Kidd Kraddick

As part of a section highlighting Dallas/Fort Worth radio, D Magazine’s January issue features a look at the last days of Kidd Kraddick’s life along with the secret he took with him. Among the other tidbits featured in the article are how Kraddick was an early adopter of building a radio community online, the person who he was developing a succession plan to replace him, his last conversation with his daughter, and the state of his estate. Kidd Kraddick Passes Away

Tragic news coming in this evening that longtime “106.1 Kiss-FM” KHKS Dallas and nationally syndicated morning host David “Kidd” Kraddick passed away this evening at the age of 53. Kraddick was in New Orleans hosting a charity gold tournament for his Kidd’s Kids charity. The following statement was posted on KHKS’s website: It is with a very heavy heart, that I am sending you this e-mail. It has been confirmed that Kidd Kraddick passed away today in New Orleans at a golf tournament organized to raise money for his beloved Kidd’s Kids charity.
