Roger and Nancy Anderson’s Southwest Media is converting its LMA of CHR “Hits 106” KFSZ Munds Park/Flagstaff, AZ from LKCM Radio Group into a purchase for $491,000. Operating as Great Circle Media, the buyers own five other stations in the Flagstaff market. Mark Jorgenson’s ACM Dallas is purchasing 700 KHSE Wylie and 990 KFCD Farmersville, TX in the Dallas/Fort Worth market from Barnard Dallas for $475,000. Jorgenson also is adding James Crystal Radio’s 1480 KBXD Dallas to his holdings in the market as part of his $5.5 million purchase of that company’s stations out of bankruptcy. Pair Of Flagstaff Flips

Guyann Corporation has launched a pair of new formats in Flagstaff, AZ. Hot AC “Magic 106.1” KFSZ has segued to CHR as “Hits 106.1“. In the process the station adds the syndicated John Jay & Rich, based out of Clear Channel’s KZZP Phoenix for mornings. KFSZ had been running a similar format as sister 99.1 KTMG in Prescott. Meanwhile sister Classic Country 930 KAFF has added an FM rebroadcast on 93.5 K228XO and is now branded as “Classic Country 93.5“. The translator, operating with 10 watts at 1758 feet, had been rebroadcasting Sierra H Broadcasting’s Rhythmic Oldies “Mega 104.3” KAJM Camp Verde/Phoenix.
