WGNK Miami Adds Additional Signals

Grupo Génesis Spanish Christian “La Neuva 88.3” WGNK Pennsuco/Miami has begun simulcasting on SBS’ 106.3 WRAZ-FM Leisure City, FL. The simulcast replaces Columbian “Cima 106.3” on that signal giving WGNK additional coverage in the Homestead area south of Miami. In addition WGNK’s programming is now being carried on HD subchannels of 106.7 WRMA Fort Lauderdale and 93.1 WPAT-FM Paterson, NJ/New York.

Spanish Broadcasting System has shifted Regional Mexican “La Raza 106.3” WRAZ-FM Leisure City, FL to Columbian Cumbia and Vallenato music as “Cima 106.3“. Although the format and programming will be directed to Colombians, we are certain that we will also receive great acceptance from other communities who love this genre of music. Many of the interpreters of these rhythms, are also very popular throughout Latin America. Miami Move-In To Debut

Spanish Broadcasting’s 106.3 WZMQ Key Largo, FL will complete its move-in to the Miami market on Saturday, January 5 becoming Regional Mexican WRAZ-FM “La Raza 106.3”. The station, which will change its city-of-license to Leisure City, FL, will become the first Spanish station in the Miami market targetting Mexican listeners. The signal will cover all of Dade County, but will not have much coverage in Hollywood or Fort Lauderdale in order to protect CBS’ WNEW-FM in the West Palm Beach market.
