Station Moves Emmis Alternative “101X” 101.5 KROX-FM Buda/Austin, TX has applied to make a significant upgrade to its signal. KROX-FM seeks to increase from a Class C2 with 12.5kW at 258.1 meters to a C1 with 86kW at 320 meters from the tower of sister 103.5 KBPA San Marcos (Coverage Map). From the new location KROX-FM’s 60dbu signal will reach into parts of San Antonio. Clear Channel continues its slow move of 94.3 W232CB Frederick, MD towards Washington DC. After completing its previous move, the translator has applied to relocate to a tower off of I-370 between Gaithersburg and Rockville with 235 watts. Common Frequency, Inc. has applied to move silent 91.1 KXRY Portland to 101.5. The Class D had been bumped from 97.9 (then KRRC) to 91.1 by the move-in of 97.9 KXPC into the market.
