KIXT Flips To Classic Rock

Prophecy Media Group has flipped Country “106.7 The Bull” KIXT Hewitt/Waco TX to Classic Rock “106.7 The Eagle“. The new format positions KIXT in between iHeartMedia’s Classic Hits “Big 95” 95.7 KBGO and Rock “102.5 The Bear” KBRQ. In the Fall 2016 Nielsen Audio ratings, KIXT was the third ranked Country station in the market behind iHeart’s market leading “Waco 100” 99.9 WACO-FM and M&M Broadcasters’ “92.9 Shooter-FM” KRMX.

Waco’s Kix Becomes The Bull

Prophecy Media Group’s Country “Kix 106.7” KIXT Hewitt/Waco has relaunched as “106.7 The Bull“. KIXT is the lowest rated of the three Country stations in the Waco market trailing Clear Channel’s market leading “Waco 100” 99.9 WACO-FM and M&M Broadcasters’ “92.9 Shooter-FM” KRMX. In addition to KIXT, Prophecy Media Group owns Regional Mexican “La Ley 104.1” KWOW and CHR “Power 108” 107.9 KWPW in the Waco market.

It has a CP to operate with 2500 watts daytime and 65 watts at night, but has also has been granted an STA to operate with 625 watts daytime. 101.3 had been rebroadcasting “1660 ESPN” KRZI.
