Connoisseur Media has flipped Rock “107.1 The Bone” WWYY Belvidere, NJ to Alternative “Spin Radio 107.1“. The new format is targetting the Allentown, PA market as a rimshot positioned as “The Valley’s Alternative”. Focusing on music from the 90s through today, the station is listing artists such as Black Keys, Foo Fighters, Green Day, Imagine Dragons, Red Hot Chili Peppers, and Weezer core artists. After signing off with The Doors “The End”, the first songs after the flip was CHRVCHES “The Mother We Share”, Bastille “Flaws”, and Dave Matthews Band “Where Are You Going”.
Update 12/3: Connoisseur has gained approval from U.S. Bankruptcy Court Judge Kevin Gross to assume operations of the Nassau stations in New Jersey and Pennsylvania and has begun operating the stations via LMA.
