SLC Divestiture Trust II has announced the sale of 107.1 KEGH Woodruff/Salt Lake City UT to Michael Call’s Aerostar Communications for $1.1 Million. This follows a failed 2015 sale of the station to Nicolas Vicente’s AASAA Media for $1.8 million. Following the failed closing of the station this past April, the station dropped its simulcast of Regional Mexican “La Raza 1550” KMRI West Valley City and went silent. The FCC has deleted the license for Inca Communications Regional Mexican 1660 KXOL Brigham City/Salt Lake City on the grounds that it was silent for more than twelve months. The first batch of moves have begun to be completed as SLC Divestiture Trust II’s 106.9 KEGH Brigham City has moved to 107.1 in Woodruff from Humpy Peak. The station is currently simulcasting Broadway Media’s “ESPN 700” KALL North Salt Lake City. That move will enable EMF Broadcasting’s 107.5 KKLV Orem to move to Kaysville from the Farnsworth Peak tower site used by many of the stations in the market and Broadway Media’s “Mix 107.9” KUDD...[Read More]
