Lori Bennett Named Cumulus Grand Rapids OM

Cumulus Grand Rapids has named Lori Bennett as Operations Manager for their five stations cluster and Program Director/Afternoon Host at Country “Nash-FM 94.5” WTNR. Bennett makes a quick return to Cumulus where she was PD/Afternoon Host at sister Hot AC 96.3 WDVD Detroit until her budget related cut in July. In addition to WTNR Bennett will oversee Classic Rock “97 WLAV” 96.9 WLAV-FM, CHR “105.3 Hot-FM” WHTS, Sports “107.3 The Ball” WBBL, and News/Talk 1340 WJRW. Eric Zane Joins WBBL For Mornings

Following his firing in February from the syndicated Free Beer & Hot Wings Show based at Townsquare Rock 97.9 WGRD Grand Rapids, Eric Zane is joining Cumulus Sports 107.3 WBBL for mornings starting on Thursday, April 8. Zane and co-host Kyle Paffhausen will be heard from 6-10am taking the place of Michael Grey and Brett Kane, whose status with the station is unknown. Zane made the announcement on YouTube this morning.

107.3 WKLQ Grand Rapids Goes Sports

Citadel has moved All-Sports 1340 WBBL Grand Rapids, MI to 107.3 FM, the former home of Active Rock WKLQ. WBBL is the flagship station of the local West Michigan Whitecaps and also carries play-by-play of the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, Detroit Red Wings, and Michigan State University. The station is also the flagship for “The HUGE Show” with Bill Simonson, which is syndicated in afternoon drive to a number of stations across Michigan.
