Beasley Appoints Dennis Gwiazdon Las Vegas Market Manager

Beasley Media has appointed Dennis Gwiazdon as its new Vice President/Market Manager for its Las Vegas properties. Gwiazdon joins Beasley from Midwest Communications where he had overseen their Nashville properties since 2001. He has also served as VP/GM for Nationwide Communications in San Diego and Brown Broadcasting in San Diego, Salt Lake City, and Seattle as well as President of Sales Insights for Coleman Insights. Aimee Montgomery Joins Lite 101.5 Las Vegas

Beasley Media’s newly launched AC “Lite 101.5” K268CS Las Vegas/KCYE-HD2 Boulder City NV has announced its first on-air host. Aimee Montgomery, who had been serving as local producer/host for the syndicated Brooke & Jubal show on sister Hot AC “Star 107.9” KVGS, will move to K268CS for middays starting Wednesday, July 5. The syndicated Brooke & Jubal morning show continues its rapid growth with the addition of Beasley Hot AC “Star 107.9” KVGS Meadview AZ/Las Vegas. Current morning host Aimee Montgomery will remain with the station providing hourly local inserts during the morning show. KVGS had brought in Mark DiCiero from crosstown CBS Hot AC “Mix 94.1” KMXB following the expiration of his non-compete in July 2015. He quietly left the station in March. Beasley Broadcasting has flipped Variety Hits “107.9 Bob-FM” KVGS Meadview, AZ/Las Vegas to Hot AC “Star 107.9“. Branded as “Las Vegas’ Best Variety” focusing on the 90’s through 2010’s, the new format launched with Bob deciding to leave town and “sell the radio station” after selling the 80s portions of the music library to Beasley’s 96.3 KKLZ. Bob Happens In Las Vegas

Beasley Modern Rock “107.9 The Alternative” KVGS Las Vegas dropped its format at 12am this morning and has flipped to Variety Hits as “107.9 Bob-FM“. The move returns the format to the Las Vegas market for the first time since CBS flipped “100.5 Jack-FM” KKJJ to News/Talk in August 2010. 107.9 has been Modern Rock since 2005, first as “Area 108” and “Area 107.9” before rebranding as “The Alternative” in 2009. The move takes it out of direct competition with CBS’ “X107.5” KXTE.
