Update 3/4: WXYY made the move to 100.1 this morning as “Y100” replacing Gospel “Joy 100“. The station is promoting music from the “90s, 2K, and Today”. The syndicated Bert Show remains in mornings, Patty Steele in middays, and new PD Tony Bristol in afternoons. Larry Wilson Acquires Triad Broadcasting

Larry Wilson, the former founder and CRO of Citadel Broadcasting who operates Alpha Broadcasting in Portland, has acquired Triad Broadcasting for $21 Million. Triad operates with different operational names in the markets it serves, such as Go Radio Fargo, JMP Radio in Peoria, and Adventure Radio in Bluefield and Savannah/Hilton Head The company will be operated under the name L&L Radio, standing for “Live & Local”.
