Stephanie Perl Joins Entercom As Hartford Market Manager

Entercom has announced the appointment of Stephanie Perl as its new SVP/Market Manager for its Hartford CT operations. Perl, who joins the company from the Local Sales Manager position at Tribune Broadcasting’s CW affiliate “CT 20” WCCT-TV and “Fox 61” WTIC-TV Hartford, becomes the third market manager in the cluster in less than a year. Mark Hannon, who ran the cluster for CBS Radio prior to the merger with Entercom, dropped oversight to focus just on Boston upon closing of the deal. Joe D’Ambrosio Joins WTIC Morning Show

Former afternoon co-host Joe D’Ambrosio is returning to the daily lineup at Entercom News/Talk 1080 WTIC Hartford CT as part of a shuffle due to the station’s loss of University of Connecticut sports. D’Ambrosio will join the “Mornings with Ray Dunaway” show as sportscaster. He has been with WTIC since 1991, most recently as afternoon co-host with Andy Gresh until April 2017. As part of the deal, D’Ambrosio will exit his position as play-by-play voice of University of Connecticut men’s basketball and football after 26 years. He replaces Bob Joyce on the WTIC morning show. Todd Feinberg Joins WTIC For Afternoons

Former 680 WRKO Boston morning host Todd Feinberg will join CBS News/Talk 1080 WTIC Hartford for 3-6pm afternoons starting Monday, April 24. Feinberg replaces the Sports based show hosted by Joe D’Ambrosio and Andy Gresh. D’Ambrosio was let go following Gresh’s exit to join Cumulus News/Talk 630 WPRO Providence earlier this month. Feinberg co-hosted mornings at WRKO from 2007-2012 after prevously hosting nights and late mornings and has worked as a fill-in host at various New England stations since. Cumulus News/Talk 630 WPRO Providence/99.7 WEAN Wakefield-Peacedale RI has announced the return of Andy Gresh to the market to host a nightly sports talk show from 6-9pm. Gresh joins WPRO from CBS News/Talk 1080 WTIC Hartford where he was co-hosting afternoons. Gresh previously spent ten years hosting mornings at now-defunct sister Sports “790 The Score” WSKO from 1998 through 2008.
