iHeartMedia Sports “Fox Sports 1280” WODT New Orleans is expanding its local programming output from two hours daily to ten on Monday, July 17. The new local lineup will start with Chris Gordy from 8-10am. Gordy currently serves as APD/Fill-In host at sister “Sports Talk 790” KBME Houston, a position in which he will continue. A pair of New Orleans Times-Picayune writers, Jeff Duncan and Larry Holder, will follow from 10am-12pm. Their “Dunc & Holder: Smart Sports Talk for Serious Fans” show will be produced in tandem with the newspaper and be made available through its NOLA.com in addition to WODT. Clear Channel has flipped Spanish Sports “ESPN Deportes 1280” WODT New Orleans to Sports “Fox Sports 1280“. The move comes after a two week stretch of simulcasting sister News/Talk 99.5 WRNO on 1280. WODT is airing the entire Fox Sports Radio national programming feed with the exception of Dan Patrick from 8-11am which remains on Cumulus’ “106.1 The Ticket” WMTI. WODT is replaying Fox Sports Daybreak in that timeslot.
