CBS Radio Promotes Tracy Brandys To Baltimore Market Manager

CBS Radio has promoted Baltimore VP/Director of Sales Tracy Brandys to Senior Vice President/Market Manager for the company’s four station cluster of AC “Today’s 101.9” WLIF, Sports “105.7 The Fan” WJZ-FM, Hot AC “Mix 106.5” WWMX, and Sports “CBS Sports Radio 1300” WJZ. Brandys succeeds Bob Phillips, who recently transferred to CBS Radio’s corporate offices in New York as Chief Revenue Officer. Bob Phillips Named CBS Radio Chief Revenue Officer

CBS Radio has promoted Baltimore market manager and SVP/Sales Bob Phillips to the newly created role of Chief Revenue Officer. Phillips will be based in New York and be responsible for leading all aspects of revenue generation for the company at the corporate, regional, and local levels. Phillips has spent most of his career in Baltimore working for United Broadcasting, Sconnix Broadcasting, and American Radio Systems into its acquisition by CBS where he rose to GSM and then GM of Oldies 105.7 WQSR before being named Market Manager for the cluster in 2000. CBS Sports Radio Network To Debut 1/2/2013

CBS has teamed with Cumulus to launch “CBS Sports Radio” on January 2, 2013. Fourteen CBS Sports formatted stations will contribute programming and content to the 24/7 network. The programming will include live talk shows around the clock with listener calls and interaction. CBS states it will have a prominent roles on the network for personalities from CBS Sports, CBS Sports Network, and CBSSports.com. Affiliates will be given the opportunity to regionalize their lineup by selecting programs from other CBS or Cumulus Sports formatted stations. Cumulus Media Networks will be the exclusive syndicator and sales partner of the network.
