Steve Goddard Joins Oldies 92.7 Phoenix

Hubbard Radio’s “Oldies 92.7” 1440 KAZG/92.7 K224CJ Phoenix has announced the addition of Steve Goddard for afternoons starting June 11. Goddard has been a staple in the Phoenix market since joining 104.7 KZZP in 1980. He spent 13 years as afternoon host at Country 102.5 KNIX from 1995-2008 before joining CBS Radio Classic Hits 94.5 KOOL-FM from 2008-2015. Goddard most recently served as morning host at Riviera Broadcasting Classic Hits “95.1/94.9 The Oasis” 95.1 KOAI Sun City West/94.9 K235CB Chandler. KAZG Phoenix Relaunches As Oldies 92.7

Following the addition of 92.7 K227CF Phoenix last year, Hubbard Oldies 1440 KAZG Scottsdale/93.3 KDKB-HD2 Mesa AZ has rebranded this week as “Oldies 92.7“. Previously known as “AZ Gold“, KAZG is focusing on 1960s and 1970s hits that are being phased out by CBS Classic Hits 94.5 KOOL. The 92.7 translator is owned by Happy Dog Communications, K224CJ holds a Construction Permit to upgrade from 10 to 250 watts at 447 meters from the South Mountain tower farm (Coverage Map).

Translator Moves Happy Dog Communications applies to increase power of 92.7 K224CJ Phoenix from 10 to 250 watts from its current 447 meter antenna on South Mountain. The move will come with a change in originating station from East Valley Institute of Technology’s CHR “90.7 The Pulse” KVIT Apache Junction to Hubbard’s 93.3 KDKB-HD2 Mesa, which currently simulcasts Oldies “AZ Gold 1440” KAZG Scottsdale (Coverage Map). Kaspar Broadcasting of Missouri is proposing to relocate 101.5 K268CT Saint Peters, MO to the Crestwood Master FM Tower in St. Louis. Hubbard Acquires Sandusky Radio

Hubbard Radio has agreed to acquired the properties of Sandusky Radio for $85.5 Million. The ten station deal includes five stations each in Seattle and Phoenix.
