Station Sales Grupo Latino de Radio, a subsidiary of Spanish media conglomerate Prisa, seeks to increase their stake in Spanish News/Talk “Caracol 1260” WSUA Miami from 25% to 100% by buying out Eucario Bermudez for $270,000. One of the first cases of the new streamlined foreign ownership rules that allow foreign companies to outright purchase stations following review by the FCC and other federal agencies. As previously reported, JVC Media has sold Oldies “True Oldies 93.5” WBGF Belle Glade FL to Zoo Communications for $1.1 million. Station Sales Mark Jorgenson’s ACM JCE IV B LLC sells 1480 KBXD Dallas to Chris Muse for $1.5 million plus a $13,000 payment to break the station’s tower lease. The previously announced sale of News/Talk 920 KVEC San Luis Obispo CA from El Dorado Broadcasters to American General Media has been filed with the FCC and a purchase price of $450,000. Randy Michaels’ Radioactive LLC sells Classic Hits 95.9 WIQI Watseka IL to Joe Young’s Smash Hit Media for $100,000. Smash Hit Media has been operating WIQI via LMA since February 2015. Roger and Nancy Anderson’s Southwest Media is converting its LMA of CHR “Hits 106” KFSZ Munds Park/Flagstaff, AZ from LKCM Radio Group into a purchase for $491,000. Operating as Great Circle Media, the buyers own five other stations in the Flagstaff market. Mark Jorgenson’s ACM Dallas is purchasing 700 KHSE Wylie and 990 KFCD Farmersville, TX in the Dallas/Fort Worth market from Barnard Dallas for $475,000. Jorgenson also is adding James Crystal Radio’s 1480 KBXD Dallas to his holdings in the market as part of his $5.5 million purchase of that company’s stations out of bankruptcy. James Crystal Bankruptcy Update

Update 4/7: Jorgenson is paying $5.5 million for the four James Crystal Radio stations. He began operating them via LMA on March 3. Update 4/4: It had been fairly quiet since the auction of the four James Crystal Radio stations took place on March 2. Now we know via Tom Taylor Now that the credit bid by Atalaya Capital was the only bid for the stations, which will soon be transferred to a new group headed by auction broker Mark Jorgenson. The new group is currently operating Sports 640 WMEN Royal Palm Beach, News/Talk 850 WFTL West Palm Beach, Brokered Brazillian 1400 WFLL Fort Lauderdale, and Brokered Christian 1480 KBXD Dallas via LMA.
