Beasley Revamps Fayetteville Programming Leadership

Beasley Media has announced two new programmers for its Fayetteville NC market stations. Former “93.1 The Wolf” WPAW Greensboro Program Director Randy Bliss has been appointed as the new Operations Manager for the cluster. He will also program AC “Sunny 94.3” 1490 WAZZ/94.3 W232CI and Country 95.7 WKML as well as host afternoons on the latter. Bliss has also programmed in Charlotte and Raleigh NC, Rochester NY, and Norfolk VA. Beasley Launches Sunny 94.3 Fayetteville

With the debut of an FM translator, Beasley Broadcasting has flipped Adult Standards 1490 WAZZ Fayetteville, NC to Soft AC “Sunny 94.3“. The move sees the station adjust its playlist from a focus on music from the 1950’s through 70’s to soft hits of the 70’s and 80’s. Beasley acquired 94.3 W232CI Fayetteville from Curtis Media’s Eastern Airwaves earlier this year for $75,000. Its 250 watt at 98 meter signal covers all of Fayetteville proper (Coverage Map).
