Kevin Graham Named WBAP/KLIF Dallas PD

Former Entercom Sports 93.7 WEEI-FM Boston Program Director Kevin Graham is joining Cumulus News/Talk 570 KLIF and 820 WBAP Dallas for the same role. Graham fills the position held by Tyler Cox. Cox rejoined WBAP as PD in 2006 (after previously programming the station from 1992-98) and added duties at KLIF in 2011. Cox will retire from the station with Graham’s arrival. Graham most recently served as Brand Manager for WEEI and the Boston Red Sox Radio Network and Sports Radio Format Captain for Entercom until the expiration of his contract this summer. Now licensed to Perth Amboy NJ, W284BW now seeks to move to the newly constructed tower with 99 watts vertical/464 meters. The translator will operate with a very highly directional signal to protect Pamal CHR "K104.7" WSPK Poughkeepsie NY with all of its coverage going east towards Queens or southwest towards Staten Island and Bayonne NJ. W284BW is currently licensed to rebroadcast SBS Spanish AC "Amor 93.1" WPAT-FM Paterson NJ.

Dennis Miller Changes Timeslot; Goes Live In Dallas & Kansas City

As the Conservative Talk syndication shuffle continues, Westwood One has announced Dennis Miller will change his live clearance time in 2014. Now airing from 10am-1pm eastern, Miller’s show will move into the 12-3pm daypart as Westwood One prepares to complete its merger with Cumulus Media Networks. By moving to the new timeslot up against Rush Limbaugh, Miller has been rewarded with live clearances on Cumulus’ 570 KLIF Dallas, 710/103.7 KCMO Kansas City, and others to be announced, Both KLIF and KCMO has been airing Cumulus’ Mike Huckabee in that timeslot. Will Huckabee be moving to the recently vacated by Geraldo Rivera 9am-12pm eastern slot or are more changes ahead?

KLIF Dallas Adds News Blocks

Update 4/10: With the debut of Mike Huckabee, KLIF adjusts its schedule yet again. The morning news block is extended to 11am followed by the first two hours of Mike Huckabee’s new show in a live clearance. Coast To Coast AM is dropped from overnights and is replaced as of now with John Batchelor, whose program will run from 8pm to 4am. Update 5/26: Coast To Coast has been dropped by Cumulus’ 560 KSFO San Francisco. Red Eye Radio slides from sister 810 KGO, which picks up Bloomberg Business News for overnights. Coast To Coast will likely reappear on Clear Channel’s 910 KKSF. Update 4/10: Add KLIF Dallas to the stations dropping Coast To Coast. With the station’s recent shift to News based programming, the station has dropped Coast To Coast and Glenn Beck. Update 2/28: Coast To Coast has been picked up by 980/98.1 KMBZ in Kansas City following its drop by KCMO.
