ESPN LA Revamps Morning & Afternoon Shows

ESPN’s “ESPN LA 710” KSPN Los Angeles will debut new morning and afternoon shows on Tuesday, September 4. Travis Rodgers, who currently hosts afternoons from 4-7pm, will move to mornings with existing co-hosts Keyshawn Johnson and LZ Granderson for “The Morning Show with Keyshawn, LZ and Travis”. Rodgers will take the place of Jorge Sedano, who will conveniently make the move to afternoons from 330-7pm with a rotating group of co-hosts. Stephen A. Smith’s national show will remain in place from 10am-12pm while Mason & Ireland will lose the final half hour of their show and run from 12-330pm. After joining the afternoon show at “710 ESPN” KSPN Los Angeles at the beginning of the year, Sean Farnham has quietly exited the station. Farnham was set to be paired with Marcellus Wiley and Eric Davis, but Davis was quickly let go following sexual harassment allegations while working at NFL Network. No official announcement has been made over Farnham’s exit, but the station has renamed the afternoon show as “Afternoons with Marcellus & Travis” as Travis Rodgers has been filling in on the afternoon show. ESPN’s “ESPN LA 710” KSPN Los Angeles is adding college basketball analyst Sean Farnham to its afternoon show starting Thursday, January 4. Farnham will join existing co-hosts Marcellus Wiley and Eric Davis for what will be rebranded as “Afternoons with Marcellus, Farnham and E.D.” from 3-7pm. That is if Davis remains with the company as he is currently under suspension while being investigated for sexual harassment claims while working at NFL Network. ESPN Radio’s 710 KSPN Los Angeles has announced the addition of former NFL cornerback Eric Davis to Marcellus Wiley and Kelvin Washington’s afternoon show starting today. The newly branded “Afternoons with Marcellus, Kelvin and E.D.” will continue to air from 3-7pm weekdays. Davis currently serves as an NFL analyst for FS1 and on Los Angeles Rams pregame coverage with Travis Rodgers and Kirk Morrison on KSPN. Stephen A. Smith Returns To ESPN 98.7 New York & 710 Los Angeles

After two years on SiriusXM’s “Mad Dog Radio” channel 82, Stephen A. Smith is moving his radio show back to ESPN’s 98.7 WEPN-FM New York and 710 KSPN Los Angeles. The show will air live in both markets from 1-3pm eastern/10am-12pm pacific, while also airing on SiriusXM’s channel 80. To make room for Smith in New York, Rich Hahn and Rick ‘Humpty’ DiPietro will move from 1-3pm to 10am to 1pm. No word yet on the status of Mychal Thompson and Mike Trudell, who air from 9am-12pm on 710 KSPN. The new lineup will be anchored by Jorge, Keyshawn and LZ in mornings from 6-9am. The show will be hosted by Jorge Sedano, who moves from nights on the national ESPN Radio network where he was co-hosting with Israel Gutierrez. He will be paired with former NFL wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson and writer LZ Granderson. Los Angeles Rams Name 710 KSPN Flagship; Games To Simulcast On 100.3 The Sound

The relocated Los Angeles Rams have signed a five year agreement with ESPN’s “ESPNLA 710” KSPN Los Angeles to serve as the team’s flagship station. All game-day broadcasts will also be simulcast on Entercom Classic Rock “100.3 The Sound” KSWD. The stations will combine for an eight hour broadcast for every game including a three hour pre-game and two hour post-game show. KSPN will also carry a weekly in-season show with Rams Head Coach Jeff Fisher on Mondays at 7pm, a one-hour game preview on Thursdays at 7pm, and a daily Rams Report.
