Paul Ihander To Program KXNT/KXST Las Vegas

Entercom has announced the appointment of Pail iHander as Program Director for News/Talk 840 KXNT and “CBS Sports 1140” KXST North Las Vegas NV. Ihander joins KXNT/KXST from Bonneville Phoenix where he served as Assistant Program Director and News Director for 92.3 KTAR-FM and “Arizona Sports 98.7” KMVP-FM since 2012. 100.5 KXNT-FM Las Vegas Flips To Rhythmic Hot AC Q100.5

CBS News/Talk 100.5 KXNT-FM Las Vegas has broken off its simulcast of 840 KXNT and flipped to Rhythmic Hot AC “Q100.5“. After an hour long stunt redirecting KXNT listeners to 840, “Q100.5” debuted at 9:00am with Montell Jordan’s “This Is How We Do It”, Rob Base & DJ EZ Rock “It Takes Two” and Justin Timberlake’s “Rock Your Body”. The new format is being positioned as “Today’s Rhythm And All The Best Old School”. Charese Fruge Promoted To VP/Programming CBS Radio Houston; Cat Thomas Takes Over Las Vegas

CBS Radio is transferring its Las Vegas VP/Programming Charese Fruge to Houston where she will serve as Vice President of Programming and Operations Manager for the company’s six stations in the markets as well as Program Director of CHR “Hot 95.7” KKHH and Hot AC “Mix 96.5” KHMX effective Monday, May 4. Fruge joined CBS Radio in 2009 as PD of Hot AC “Mix 94.1” KMXB Las Vegas and has since taken on oversight of Alternative “X107.5” KXTE as well.
