Station Moves One of only two facilities licensed to operate on 87.9 is seeking to move. Mountain View Public Broadcasting’s pending acquisition of 87.9 KSFH Mountain View, CA seeks to move to 100.7 due to “operational challenges faced on this channel, which is outside the normally used FM broadcast band”. The Class D signal intends to operate with 10 watts at -44 meters (Coverage Map). KSFH originally operated on 90.5 and 88.1 prior to moving to 87.9 in 1999. If granted, the move will leave Calvary Chapel of Twin Falls’ K200AA Sun Valley/Reno, NV as the only broadcast facility licensed on 87.9. Cox Media acquires the CP for 99.5 W258CN Jacksonville, FL from Barry Magrill for $350,000. The translator will operate with 250 watts at 268 meters and rebroadcast an HD subchannel of Cox’s 104.5 WOKV-FM. TSJ Radio is converting its LMA of Spanish CHR “Mega 97.7” WOXY Mason/Cincinnati to a purchase. TSJ will pay Queen Cities Broadcasting $900,000 for the station. One of two stations licensed to operate on 87.9, KSFH Mountain View, CA is being transferred by St. Francis High School of Mountain View to Mountain View Public Broadcasting for $20,000.
