After selling all of its television properties to NBC Universal’s Telemundo, ZGS Broadcasting has sold Spanish AC “America 900” WILC Laurel MD/Washington DC to Alejandro Carrasco’s ACR Media for $700,000. Carrasco has been operating WILC via Time Brokerage Agreement since January 2016 and also owns Spanish News/Talk “1540 Radio America” WACA Wheaton MD. William Stafford’s Route 6 Broadcasting Area Partnership is purchasing Sam Jordan’s 50% stake in Greater Corry Area Broadcasting and its Full Service Country 1370 WWCB Corry PA for $15,000 and the assumption of all debt and the station’s mortgage obligation. WILC Shifts To Talk

ZGS Communications’ 900 WILC Laurel, MD/Washington, DC will drop its Spanish AC “Rom√°ntica 900” format to a mix of brokered and syndicated Conservative Talk on Monday, February 3. The move will give home to some of the programs dropped when 730 WTNT dropped Conservative Talk for Spanish AC in December. The lineup announced so far includes: 9am-12pm: Glenn Beck 12-3pm: The Dr. K Show 3-6pm: The Capitol Hill Show With Tim Constantine 6-9pm: Dennis Miller 12am-6am: Resurrection Radio with Wolfman Jack Mornings from 6-9am and nights from 9pm-12am have yet to be announced. WILC operates 1.9kW daytime and 500 watts nights covering the northern portions of the Washington DC market.
