Brad Hansen Leaves KWOF To Become Cumulus Albuquerque OM

Brad Hansen is joining Cumulus Media as FM Operations Manager of the company’s Albuquerque cluster and Program Director of Country “92.3 Nash-FM” KRST, Classic Country “96.3 Nash Icon” KBZU, and Variety Hits “103.3 Ed-FM” KDRF. Hansen joins Cumulus from Kroenke Sports & Entertainment Country “92.5 The Wolf” KWOF Denver where he served as Program Director since April 2014. He previously served as OM for iHeartMedia’s Fort Collins cluster and has programmed in Austin, Reno and Springfield MO. Cumulus Plays Albuquerque Morning Shuffle

Cumulus has announced morning show changes at a pair of its Albuquerque stations. Following the debut of the Nash brand on 92.3 KRST last Friday, Scott Simon and Rachael Michaels are moving over to sister AC “99.5 Magic-FM” KMGA. The duo will replace Phil Moore, who is retiring after a 37 year career including the last 17 in mornings at KMGA. Cumulus Albuquerque announces that veteran Morning man, Phil Moore, has retired after 37 years on air. The last 17 years, Moore hosted “The Moore Music Morning Show” on KMGA- 99.5 Magic FM. Prior to that, he was on-air at sister station KKOB-FM. Nash Takes Left Turn Into Albuquerque

Cumulus Country 92.3 KRST Albuquerque relaunched as “Nash-FM 92.3” at 9:23 this morning. The changeover comes with the addition of the Blair Garner-led America’s Morning Show replacing the station’s “Get Up Gang” of Scott Simon, Scott Brown, and Rachel Michaels. Juan Velasco will remain in afternoons. KRST was second in the Albuquerque market with a 5.4 share in the Winter Phase 1 trends, while Clear Channel’s “Big I 107.9” KBQI was tenth with a 2.9 share.
