Shawnda McNeal Joins KIZN As Morning Co-Host/Midday Host

Cumulus Country “Kissin 92.3” KIZN Boise has tabbed Shawnda McNeal as its new morning co-host and midday host. McNeal will join incumbent morning host Cory Mikhals for the newly minted “Idaho’s Morning Show” and then the solo 10am-2pm midday shift. The Ohio native has previously worked mornings at CHR “Radio Now 93.1” WNOU Indianapolis and along with Atom Smasher at CHR “Hot 96” WSTO Evansville, Hot AC “Mix 96.5” KHMX Houston, and Alternative “102.1 The Edge” KDGE Dallas. KQFC Boise Drops Nash And Goes Classic Country

Cumulus Country “97.9 Nash-FM” KQFC Boise has dropped the national brand and has flipped to Classic Country as “97.9 KQFC“. Steve Shannon, APD/Afternoon host at sister Country “Kissin 92” 92.3 KIZN Boise moves to KQFC for mornings replacing the syndicated Ty, Kelly & Chuck. Tommy Collins moves from afternoons to middays, while KIZN/KQFC Program Director Hank Aaron moves from KIZN middays to afternoons at KQFC. Rachelle French, a producer at Cumulus’ Chicago cluster, will voicetrack nights.
