Curtis Media Group has given up on Variety Hits “92.7 Jack-FM” 1300 WSSG/92.7 W224DD Goldsboro NC and has flipped the station to Urban “92.7 Jamz“. Positioned as “Goldsboro’s home for Hip Hop & R&B”, the flip fills a hole for the format as Goldsboro was only served by rimshot signals from Urban One’s “K97.5” WQOK Carrboro/Raliegh, Beasley’s “Foxy 99.1” WZFX Whiteville/Fayetteville, and Curtis’ “101.9 Kiss-FM” WIKS New Bern. The change at WSSG follows Curtis’ flip of News/Talk 1150 WGBR/98.3 W252CL Goldsboro to Classic Hits in June.
