Salem has agreed to purchase 93.3 KKSP from Capital City Broadcasting for $1.5 million. Salem is operating both KKSP and KHTE via Time Brokerage Agreements. Update 4/2: Salem has assumed operations of 93.3 KKSP Bryant and 96.5 KHTE-FM England, AR and relaunched both Little Rock market stations. As expected, 93.3 KKSP has flipped from Sports to Christian AC “93.3 The Fish” and relaunched Conservative Talk “96.5 The Voice” KHTE-FM as “96.5 The Answer“. Crain Media Sports “93.3 The Source” KKSP Bryant/Little Rock, AR has relaunched as “93.3 The Jock” with an expanded local lineup. Jim Brinson, most recently of iHeartMedia’s 1460 KXNO Des Moines joins the station as Operations Manager and Host of “Jimmy B and the Crew” from 6:00 to 9:00am. Big Jake & Jeff join the station for 9-11am. The remainder of the daytime lineup stays the same with Game On with Wess Moore and Michael Smith from 11am to 2pm and the regionally syndicated SportsTalk with Bo Mattingly from 2-7pm. Fox Sports Radio programming will be heard nights and weekends. The Jock’s programming is also being heard on a regional network of sister 1300 KRZS/106.5 K293CE Searcy and 1370 KAWW Heber Springs.
Crain Media will shuffle the formats at two of its Little Rock stations on Thursday, January 10. Talk/Sports “Fresh Talk 93.3” KKSP Bryant will move to 96.5 where it will displace Rhythmic CHR “K-Hits 96.5” KHTE England. The move will allow “Fresh Talk” to focus completely on Conservative Talk as the Sports programming will remain on 93.3. The syndicated Dennis Miller and Mike Huckabee will join a lineup that includes local “AM Arkansas” from 6-8am, Glenn Beck from 8-11am, and Andy Dean from 6-9pm. Remaining on 93.3 will be “Game On With Wess & Michael” from 11am-2pm and the regionally syndicated Bo Mattingly from 2-6pm.

Update 12/28: KKSP made the move to Talk yesterday as it debuted its new identity of “Fresh Talk 93.3” Update 12/24: KKSP has announced to its audience it will be flipping to News/Talk next week and has begun unveiling parts of its new lineup. Neal Gladner, formerly of 102.9 KARN-FM will anchor a local morning show from 6 to 8am. He will be followed by Laura Ingraham from 8 to 11am.
