The new “Old School” positioned station will flank sister Rhythmic CHR “Power 102.1” KPRR and AC “Sunny 99.9” KTSM with Rhythmic pop from the 70s through 90s much like sister “Hot 95.1” KLQT Albuquerque. iHeartMedia acquired K228FM last June from Mary Guthrie for $85,000 and modified its CP to operate with 99 watts vertical at 359 meters.
Station Moves Telesouth Communications is canceling its previously granted CP to upgrade 103.1 WOSM Ocean Springs/Biloxi, MS from a Class C2 with 50kW at 140 meters to a C1 with 100kW at 180 meters at the request of Apex Broadcasting.
