KRDJ Sold To Bible Broadcasting

Update 7/31: KRDJ will end its Rock format at sometime after the sale closes on Friday morning. When Bible Broadcasting closes on KRDJ, The Lafayette Daily Advertiser reports the station will go dark until the Fall while studio repairs are made. A pair of KRDJ’s staffers are transferring to Cumulus’ “Rock 101” 101.3 KKGB Lake Charles. Morning host Jace Edwards will host afternoons at KKGB, while middayer Rach will fill the same shift there. Update 6/9: The sale contract has been filed with the FCC. Bible Broadcasting Network will pay Last Bastion $1,775,000 for KRDJ and assumption of its tower site lease.
