People Moves 5/21: Nick Cattles Returns To ESPN 94.1 Norfolk

Max Media Sports “ESPN Radio 94.1” WVSP Yorktown/Norfolk has announced the return of Nick Cattles to the station to host afternoons from 3-6pm. Cattles previously held that daypart from 2012-2016 before joining “98.5 The Sports Hub” WBZ-FM Boston. He replaces Jeff ‘Pants’ Pantridge who was let go by WVSP last week. Max Media has promoted Director of Sales Keith Barton to Vice President/General Manager for its five station cluster in Norfolk/Virginia Beach replacing the exiting Dave Paulus. Barton has been with the company since 1998 and Director of Sales since 2011. Paulus had overseen the cluster since 2011 and previously spent a decade as Market Manager at Saga Communications’ Norfolk cluster. Jeff Pantridge Takes Afternoons At ESPN 94.1 Norfolk

Max Media Sports “ESPN Radio 94.1” WVSP Yorktown/Norfolk VA has added Jeff ‘Pants’ Pantridge for 4-7pm weekdays. Pantridge joins WVSP from Tampa where he worked at multiple stations including defunct CBS Sports “98.7 The Fan” WHFS-FM and most recently was hosting a podcast for RadioInfluence.com. He fills the opening created by Nick Cattles’ exit to join CBS Sports “98.5 The Sports Hub” WBZ-FM Boston last month. We’re still calling Kars4Kids switch to Kids4Kars as the best move of the day with their commercials airing on multiple stations across the country. Greater Media Classic Hits 105.7 WROR Boston is airing all their non-music elements in Spanish branded as “Samba 105.7“. The station cited the Spanish elements this morning as part of USWTF Regulations for necessary SAP guidelines for radio. In Montreal, Bell Media’s two English language stations traded frequencies for the 7:00am hour. CHR “Virgin Radio 96” aired on 97.7 CHOM with CHOM’s Rock format on 95.9 CJFM.
