FM Changes Way Media’s recently acquired 89.7 KAWA Sanger TX seeks to increase its coverage in Dallas by upgrading from a Class C1 to C0. KAWA will increase power from 14 to 45 watts from its current 518 meter antenna (Coverage Map).
A pair of sales will see three Pittsburgh area stations changing hands. Educational Media Foundation, which has been on a buying spree of late, will sell two of its translators in the Pittsburgh market to Broadcast Communications, Inc for $310,000. The two translators are already used to rebroadcast BCI’s AM stations in the market. 94.1 W231BM Clarion, PA operates with 84 watts and rebroadcasts Variety 620 WKHB Irwin. 97.5 W248AR Monroeville operates with 118 watts and rebroadcasts Talk/Oldies 770 WKFB Jeannette.
