WAJI Fort Wayne Reverts To Majic Identity

Sarkes Tarzian Hot AC “95.1 Best-FM” WAJI Fort Wayne has flipped back to AC under its long time “Majic 95.1” identity. WAJI had dropped its “Majic” moniker for “Best-FM” in March 2014 as the station evolved to Hot AC. Adams Radio filled the softer AC position later that year with the launch of “Soft Rock 103.9” WWFW. The new Majic is being positioned as “Songs You Can Sing Along To” and debuted with Lifehouse “You And Me”, Taylor Swift “Style”, Kelly Clarkson “Since U Been Gone”, and Journey “Don’t Stop Believin'” The move comes with the exit of several staffers over the past few weeks. WAJI Fort Wayne To Rebrand

Sarkes Tarzian AC “Majic 95.1” WAJI Fort Wayne is the latest Adult Contemporary station to rebrand. The station will become “95.1 Best-FM” on Thursday, as it repositions to join the AC trend of reaching younger demographics. The “Majic” brand had a nearly 30 year heritage in the market, being in the AC format since 1985. Check out our new name @951best.
