David Dean Moves From WNOE To KWNR As Program Director

iHeartMedia has transferred 101.1 WNOE New Orleans Program Director David Dean to the same role at Country “95.5 The Bull” KWNR Las Vegas. Dean has programmed WNOE since January 2015 after previously serving as APD/MD at “Q104.1” WTQR Winston-Salem NC. He has also worked at “98.1 The Bull” WBUL Lexington KY and 92.5 WPAP Panama City FL during his career. This is a different David Dean than the one who continues to host afternoons at CBS’ 94.1 KMPS Seattle. Lois Lewis Moves To KNIX

iHeartMedia Country 102.5 KNIX Phoenix has appointed Lois Lewis as its new APD/MD. Lewis, who has already been voicetracking middays at KNIX, will relocate to Phoenix from Las Vegas where she held the same position at “95.5 The Bull” KWNR. She has also worked as Senior Director of Regional Promotion for Republic Nashville and MD/Night host at Cumulus’ 99.5 KIIM Tucson. KWNR Las Vegas Becomes The Bull

With the IHeartRadio Festival starting tonight in Las Vegas, Clear Channel has used the timing to relaunch Country KWNR as “95.5 The Bull“. KWNR has fallen on hard times in recent months dropping 3.0-2.9-1.7 over the past three PPM monthlies while battling Beasley’s “102.7 The Coyote” KCYE. KWNR was one of the launch stations when Bobby Bones became nationally syndicated in February.

Clear Channel Announces Additional Stations For Bobby Bones Rollout

As Bobby Bones made his debut at new flagship WSIX Nashville, Clear Channel has revealed more stations that will debut the show over the next couple weeks. Previously announced were “KASE 101” 100.7 KASE Austin, “93.7 the Bull” KSD-FM St. Louis, “106.1 The Twister” KTGX Tulsa, “Cat Country 107.1” WCKT Fort Myers, “B100” WOBB Albany GA, “Kicker 95.1” KYXR Beaumont, and 98.1 WTXT Tuscaloosa.
