Genesis Communications is selling Brokered 1470 WMGG Egypt Lake/Tampa FL to Neal Ardman’s NIA Broadcasting for $350,000 where it will become a sister station to Classic Hip-Hop 1150 WTMP Egypt Lake and Regional Mexican “96.1 La Mexicana” WTMP-FM Dade City. As part of the deal NIA has begun operating the station via Time Brokerage Agreement and has flipped it to a simulcast of WTMP-FM. Tron Dinh Do’s Intelli LLC is converting its LMA of Astor Broadcasting’s 1510 KSPA Ontario/Riverside CA into a purchase for $1.35 million. KSPA carries Intelli’s Vietnamese “Vien Thao Radio“. Station Sales Neal Ardman’s NIA Broadcasting is purchasing Classic Hip-Hop 1150 WTMP Egypt Lake/Tampa and Regional Mexican “96.1 La Mexicana” WTMP-FM Dade City FL from Tama Broadcasting bankruptcy receiver Scott Savage for $500,000. The stations had been in receivership since 2009. NIA began operating the stations via Time Brokerage Agreement on February 3. The sale of Liberal Talk 1510 WRRD Waukegan/Milwaukee has a price. Michael Crute’s New WRRD LLC. will pay Good Karma Broadcasting $760,000 for the AM daytimer. WTMP Enters La Bahia

Davidson Media has assumed control of Urban AC 1150 WTMP/96.1 WTMP-FM Tampa and shifted the station to Spanish Tropical “La Bahia“. Davidson is acquiring the stations from Scott Savage, the receiver for the bankrupt Tama Communications. Out with the change are the syndicated Tom Joyner and Michael Baisden shows. WTMP had been targeting Tampa’s black community for the past 57 years. TampaBay.com reports a local group is attempting to acquire or lease WTMP or another station in the Tampa/St. Petersburg market to target the audience.
