Lontine’s group is planning on launching “96.9 The Cloud” K245AD Arvada/Boulder in early 2016, which KBUD could serve as originating signal. In addition to beginning to operate 590 KFNS Wood River IL/St. Louis via LMA, Markel Radio Group LLC will acquire the station for $250,000 plus an additional $50,000 in fees from Detalus Consulting, the bankruptcy receiver for Grand Slam Sports. In nearby Joliet, 94.3 W232BL looks to double from 5 to 10 watts with a shift to 99.1 due to interference from co-owned “K-Love” WJKL Glendale Heights. Over in Phoenix, EMF is seeking to relocate and upgrade its 96.5 K243BN Laveen from the South Mountain tower farm to the north side of the city. It will upgrade from 11 to 51 watts.
