Station Moves Emmis Alternative “101X” 101.5 KROX-FM Buda/Austin, TX has applied to make a significant upgrade to its signal. KROX-FM seeks to increase from a Class C2 with 12.5kW at 258.1 meters to a C1 with 86kW at 320 meters from the tower of sister 103.5 KBPA San Marcos (Coverage Map). From the new location KROX-FM’s 60dbu signal will reach into parts of San Antonio. While still awaiting its license after its CP was set to expire in September, Hispanic Target Media now seeks to increase 102.9 KHMQ King City, CA to 6kW at 17 meters (Coverage Map). Station Sales Week Of November 7

Station Sales 4-K’s LLLP is converting their lease of 1550 KDCO/94.1 K231BQ Golden, CO for “Mile High Sports Radio” into an outright buy. Vic Michael’s Advanced Modulation Broadcasting will receive $550,000 for the station and translator. Bristol Broadcasting is acquiring Silent 1350 WNVA and 106.3 WNVA-FM Norton, VA from Radio Wise, Inc. for $35,000. The stations have been off the air due financial and health hardships of the owners. The equipment and studio/transmitter sites of both stations were sold at public auction. Bristol intends to apply to relocate WNVA-FM to a new location within 90 days in order to expedite its return to the air.
