If there’s one thing we know to expect every November most of the same stations that flipped to Christmas music last year and the year before that and the year before that will do so again this year. The fallout from Tyler Media’s move of Classic Rock KRXO to 104.5 and launch of Sports “107.7 The Franchise” is now being felt at other stations. The syndicated Bob & Tom show will move from KRXO to Cumulus Classic Rock “96.9 Bob-FM” KQOB on Monday, September 16. KRXO has already replaced the show with a local show hosted by “Hollywood” Matt Garrett. Concurrently, Phil Inzinga & Ron Spinozi will move from mornings at KQOB to sister Sports “98.1 The Sports Animal” WWLS-FM. They will also host a two hour afternoon program from 4-6pm on Bob-FM. At WWLS, the duo will replace Mike Stelly and Jay ‘Lump’ Lynch who crossed the street to “107.7 The Franchise” for its launch.
