KTFM & KKSS Add Dana Cortez Show

The first two affiliates for ABC Radio/Skyview Networks’ newly syndicated Dana Cortez Show have been revealed. In her home market of San Antonio, the show will air from 3-7pm afternoons on Alpha Media Rhythmic CHR “Energy 94.1” KTFM Floresville. The show had been airing in mornings at Univision’s “98.5 The Beat” KBBT from October 2015 until exiting at the end of July. Prior to moving to KBBT, the show was based at “Kiss 97.3” KKSS Albuquerque and aired there until Univision sold the station to American General Media in 2017. Randy Fox Joins KAGM/KKSS Albuquerque As Program Director

American General Media has appointed Randy Fox as Program Director for Rhythmic CHR “Kiss 97.3” KKSS and Hot AC “Mix 105.1” KKRG Albuquerque NM. Fox most recently spent 16 years at 102.5 KSFM Sacramento and former sister Hot AC “Now 100.5” KZZO mostly as Creative Services Director and Assistant Program Director and was serving as Acting PD upon his exit in April. He also previously worked in Austin, El Paso, Las Cruces, Phoenix, and Saginaw in his career. American General Media Albuquerque has hired Randy Fox as Program Director of heritage Rhythmic KKSS-FM (KISS 97.3) and upstart Hot AC KKRG (MIX 105.1) effective Monday, July 23rd. More American General Media/Univision Albuquerque Sale Details

And the final piece of the puzzle has been revealed. BB Broadcasting will pay $750,000 for CHR “Z106.3” KDLW Los Lunas from American General Media. BB is led by Thomas Bozzuto who operates a Maryland based Real Estate Management company. BB will enter into a pair of agreements to operate the station. American General Media will provide back office services for the station and agree to a $66,000 deal over five years to utilize their equipment at the tower site. BB has also agreed to a Time Brokerage Agreement for Vanguard Media, who is purchasing 101.3 KJFA-FM, to provide programming and marketing services. Albuquerque Staffers Cross The Street En Masse

Four staffers from Univision’s Albuquerque cluster resigned together to join competitor American General Media. DJ Lopez, PD/Midday host at Rhythmic CHR “Kiss 97.3” KKSS will take the same roles at AGM’s Rhythmic CHR “Power 106.7” KAGM as well as program CHR “Z106.3” KDLW and Alternative “Area 102.9” KARS. Also moving from Kiss to Power for the same positions are Imaging Director/Afternoon Host Johnny V and Music Director/Nights MQ. Julian Robles will move from “La Jefa 105.1” KJFA to AGM’s “Radio Lobo 97.7” KLVO for an undisclosed airshift. The moves come amidst massive restructuring and layoffs at Univison.
